Key workers required by Dorset’s disability charity
Key workers are required to help with Diverse Abilities Supported Living Service, providing support to adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and enabling them to live independent lives.
Personal support assistants help adults with disabilities to do simple things such as cooking, cleaning, visiting friends, and gardening.
Prior experience is not required as paid training is provided through shadow shifts and ongoing support.
The charity is helping to relieve pressure on the NHS during the COVID-19 crisis by continuing to provide care and support within individuals’ own homes.
HR manager at Diverse Abilities, Lee Brady said, “Our staff have dealt with these changes admirably, and continue to be supportive in the lives of these vulnerable adults. We are always looking for more people that are looking to make a difference in their local community, and our applications are currently open for personal support assistants within our adult services.”
Visit diverseabilities.org.uk/jobs to apply online, applications close on Thursday 30 April.
