Knife-wielding robber steals cash in Bournemouth
Dorset Police are hoping anyone who witnessed the robbery or who has dashcam footage will come forward to help with enquiries.
A man wielding a knife stole money from a person in broad daylight in Winton at around 10.50am on Thursday 26 March.
The victim was approached by the man in Wimborne Road near the junction with Withermoor Road.
It is reported that the man demanded money from the victim. The money was handed over and the man left the area.
The victim sustained no injuries.
Police Constable Abbey Poole, of Dorset Police, said: “This must have been terrifying for the victim, and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the person responsible.
“I would ask any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to please get in touch.
“I am also urging any motorists who were driving in the area around the relevant time to please check their dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
