Last chance to have your say on climate strategy
You have until Wednesday 20 January to put forward your views on how you think Dorset Council should tackle the climate emergency.
Time is running out if you want to put forward your views to Dorset Council about its plans to tackle the climate and ecological emergency. Completed surveys must be returned by Wednesday 20 January.
The Council aims for its services and estate to become carbon neutral by 2040, and for the whole Dorset Council area to save more carbon that it produces by 2050.
You can access the strategy and action plan on www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/climate-strategy and access the survey on www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/climate-survey.
Cllr Ray Bryan, Dorset Council’s portfolio holder for Highways, Travel and Environment, said, “We want as many people to respond to our Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategy consultation as possible, but the deadline for responses is approaching fast.
“I strongly encourage everyone to head over to our website, have a read of the strategy and complete the survey. Those who need offline copies of the documents can request these by calling 01305 221000 or e-mailing our Communications Team at comms@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.”
