Some of the winners of the LeAF Studio Awards 2015
From elite athletes to performing arts students, the wonderful wealth of talent which can be found at Bournemouth’s LeAF Studio was celebrated at a special awards ceremony. The school provides a unique education and training for the area’s most talented young sports stars and performing arts students aged 14 to 19.
Altogether, 27 awards were given out to students in recognition of their individual successes in sport and the arts.
Executive Principal, Gill Blanshard, said, “This has been a wonderful way to celebrate the accomplishments of all our students.
“Our students have excelled throughout the year. Performing arts students have performed in shows at a number of prestigious venues and have retained their Rock Challenge regional champion’s status.
“And our sports stars continue to feature strongly in national and even international finals.
“They are all winners in our eyes and it was very difficult to single out individuals because every single one of our students is reaching their own personal milestone all the time.”
Awards included: academic achievement; individual sports (male and female); actor of the year (male and female); musician of the year and dancer of the year.
