'My Life and Times at Harrods...and other tales'
Robin Cook is to relate part two of his story on 24 February
Following the success of this entertaining account of his life in retail that Robin Cook gave last autumn, a fundraising event will take place at the Priest’s House Museum in Wimborne.
Entitled ‘My life and times at Harrods…and other tales – Part 2!’ – another evening with Robin Cook, this is an entertaining follow up to his amusing account of life at Harrods during the 1960s; this time bringing everyone into the 21st Century.
The event is organised by the Mayor of Wimborne, Cllr Sue Cook, for her chosen charities. Sue said, “The last talk was a great success raising over £400 and many who attended expressed support for a follow up, so I hope we can exceed that figure this time”.
The Mayor’s charities to benefit are The Priest’s House Museum & Garden, The Dorset Youth Marching Band (Wimborne’s adopted band), and Wimborne Dementia Friendly Community.
