Diverse Abilities is inviting the local community to an event on Saturday 12 January to find out how they could join the charity and make a huge difference to adults with disabilities in the local area.
The charity relies on the local community to support extraordinary people that require assistance 24/7 in their own home and out in the community. Many adults the charity supports enjoy swimming, walks along the beach, pub visits, going to concerts and even holidays abroad. The charity’s team ensure the adults supported do exactly as they wish and have a very enjoyable and fulfilled life.
Lee Brady, HR manager at Diverse Abilities, said, “By attending the event, there will be the opportunity to speak with representatives from the services, meet people that are supported and find out what it is like to be part of Diverse Abilities.”
The event is taking place on Saturday 12 January between 10am and 12.30pm at the charity’s specialist school, Langside located on Langside Avenue, Poole BH12 5BN.
