Following on from last month’s Dementia Awareness Week the Priest’s House Museum & Garden in Wimborne Minster is holding another Forget-Me-Not craft session on Friday 19 June, 10am to 12 noon.
Join an informal and fun session knitting or crocheting forget-me-nots which will be made into bouquets to be displayed in the museum and other local venues. Some equipment will be provided so bring your knitting needles and crochet hooks, plus any spare blue, yellow or white wool you may have and come along for a knit and a knatter!
If you want to get ahead and start knitting or crocheting in advance, patterns for the forget-me-nots can be obtained from the Community Learning & Resource Centre in King Street where completed flowers can also be dropped off.
All money raised will go to the Wimborne Dementia Friendly Community Group. Help raise awareness one stitch at a time and bring warmth and a smile to the face of someone living with dementia.
