Man arrested after moped and car collision in Bournemouth
Anyone who witnessed the collision at Station Roundabout in Lansdowne is asked to contact Dorset Police.
A moped rider was arrested following a collision in the Lansdowne area.
At around 8.35am on Sunday 4 May, a blue Honda moped collided with a blue Renault Clio at the Station Roundabout, at the junction of Holdenhurst Road and the A35 St Paul’s Road.
The moped rider, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to an injury that was believed to be serious but not life changing or life threatening. He was subsequently discharged from hospital and was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also like to speak with any motorists who were in the area and may have captured any relevant dashcam footage.”
