Man arrested following collision on the A31
Witnesses to the two-car collision at St Leonards or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to contact Dorset Police.
A man was arrested following a road traffic collision which took place on the A31 at St Leonards on Friday 28 February.
The collision was reported at 11.23am and involved a grey Hyundai Bayon and a blue Audi A1
It was reported that the Hyundai was on its roof and the driver, a man in his 30s from Bournemouth, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and taken to hospital for treatment. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The Audi driver did not sustain any serious injuries.
Police Constable Michael Wells, of East Dorset police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and the moments leading up to it.
“I would ask any motorists who were travelling in the area and have information to assist my enquiries to please come forward.
“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
