Man arrested following criminal damage to Dorset pharmacies
Anyone who witnessed a disturbance at either of the pharmacies or who has any CCTV footage is urged to contact police.
A 45 year-old Christchurch man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and criminal damage to two pharmacies has been released under investigation as officers carry out further enquiries.
It was reported that some time between 2am and 3.45am on Friday 4 March the front windows of the Tuckton Pharmacy and Healthpoint Pharmacy, both in Tuckton Road in Southbourne, were smashed. It is not believed entry was gained to either premises.
Police Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “Our investigation is ongoing, and I am appealing to any witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward if they have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge any residents or local businesses with CCTV systems, or motorists with dashcam who were in the area during the early hours of Friday 4 March 2022, to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
