A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Bournemouth teenager Linda Lietaviete who was found dead in the town on 13 December.
Police were called to Horseshoe Common at around 12.20am on Friday 13th following a report of an incident there. The body of the 16-year-old was discovered near the flyover. She was pronounced dead at the scene by an ambulance crew.
Alvin Jay Santos was arrested on suspicion of murder and was later charged. He appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court today (16 December) and has been remanded in custody. He will appear at Winchester Crown Court on 18 December.
