Man in his 90s dies in single vehicle collision in Cerne Abbas
The man from Cerne Abbas, who was in his 90s, sadly died at the scene of the collision in Long Street and witnesses are sought.
A local man in his 90s died yesterday, Thursday 25 March, when his brown Honda Jazz crashed into a wall on Long Street in Cerne Abbas.
Dorset Police, who were called to scene at 12.32pm, are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
The man was pronounced dead and his family has been informed and the coroner notified.
Police Sergeant Lee Savage, of the traffic unit, said, “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died.”
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the collision.”
