A driver was punched three times, once on the arm and twice in the face during a road rage incident in Poole.
He was driving a silver Mini along Dorset Way at around 2.30pm on Thursday 29 October 2015 when a verbal altercation took place with the driver of a black Audi.
The driver of the Audi followed the victim around the Fleetsbridge area.
The victim pulled onto the forecourt of the Esso garage on Wimborne Road in a bid to get away. The driver of the Audi stopped alongside, got out of his car, pulled open the victim’s car door and took the keys out of the ignition.
He then punched the victim.
The offender is described as white, aged in his early 40s, six feet two inches tall, bald and with a large dark goatee beard. He was wearing gym clothes including a dark top and dark shorts with orange stripes.
Police Constable Liam Sheridan, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward and call 101.
“I am particularly keen to trace a member of the public who took a photo of the offending vehicle during the incident.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
