Man pushed off scooter in Poole sustains serious injuries
If you were in Southill road, Poole on Sunday 21 March between 6pm and 6.30pm you may have witnessed this serious assault.
A man in his 20s sustained facial injuries, damage to his teeth and a fractured leg when he was allegedly pushed off his scooter and assaulted while on the floor, before the offender left the scene.
The incident occurred between 6pm and 6.30pm on Sunday 21 March in Southill Road, Poole.
Following enquiries, a 21-year-old Poole man has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Jordan Hopkins, of Bournemouth CID, said, “We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this incident and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area at the relevant time and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
