Man seriously injured in Poole town centre
A number of people were in the area of Orchard Plaza at 9pm on Friday 30 April and police would like to speak to any witnesses.
A man in his 30s who was reportedly approached by a group of men in Poole Town centre on Friday 30 April received serious injuries. The incident, in which one of the men punched the victim in the face, occurred outside Munchies in Orchard Plaza at around 9.30pm.
The man suffered a fracture to his eye socket as a result of the assault.
The offender is described as white and was wearing a black Puffa-style jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Detective Constable Jo Poultney, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and from our enquiries we believe there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or anyone who has information that might assist our investigation, to please get in touch.”
