Man stabbed in Boscombe Gardens
A number of people were in the area on the evening of Thursday 18 December, and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.
Boscombe Gardens was the scene of a stabbing on Thursday 18 December.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.42pm that a man was located with injuries in Drummond Road. It was further reported that the man had sustained a stab wound a short time before, in the Gardens.
The victim – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A cordon was put in place to allow for detailed enquiries to be carried out at the scene.
Detective Inspector Jon Sainsbury, of BCP CID, said: “A full investigation is underway by detectives to establish the full circumstances of what happened and to locate the offender.
“I understand there were a number of people around at the time, and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that may help our enquiries, to please come forward.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area, and we would encourage anyone with information or concerns to please speak with an officer.”
