Man stabbed in Bournemouth in assault by three teenagers
A man was stabbed following an altercation that began outside the Columbia Convenience Store in Columbia Road and continued into Slades Farm Road.
A man in his 20s suffered injuries following an incident in Bournemouth on Friday 10 February.
Shortly before 7pm the victim and a friend were involved in an argument with a group of three other men outside the Columbia Convenience Store in Columbia Road.
They walked off before subsequently encountering the group again a short time later and were chased into Slades Farm Road, where the victim fell to the ground before being assaulted. He sustained two suspected stab wounds to his leg and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition was not life-threatening.
The suspects are said to be white males in their late teens. One is described as tall and of slim build with brown hair and was wearing a full grey tracksuit. A second suspect is described as five feet nine inches tall, wearing a dark Puffa-style jacket and had his face covered with a scarf and hood. The third suspect is described as five feet seven inches tall with a bridged nose and short dark hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.
Detective constable Nick Whittaker, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident, including a trawl of CCTV in the vicinity and house-to-house enquiries.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information relating to those involved, to please contact us.
“I would also ask any residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, or motorists with dash cams who were driving in the area, to please check their footage for the evening of Friday 10 February 2023 for anything that might assist our investigation.”
