Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses following a vicious assault in the town.
The incident happened along Holdenhurst Road near the junction with Windham Road at around 6pm on Monday (3 June).
The victim, a 40-year-old Bournemouth man, was attacked and sustained serious head injuries.
Detective Constable James Lees, of Bournemouth CID, said, “Unfortunately, we have no further information about the incident at this time and need the public’s help to establish how the victim received his injuries.
“He is still in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
“I would ask any witnesses, anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of this incident and anyone with information about those responsible, to call Dorset Police on 101.”
