March in Bournemouth on Saturday for climate justice
A march for climate justice will begin in Bournemouth Pier Approach at 2.30pm and finish in Bournemouth Square where there will be speeches.
Protestors across the region are to join a march for climate justice in Bournemouth this Saturday 6 November.
The demonstration is one of many rallies taking place across the country, to coincide with the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow and the Global Day for Climate Justice. Starting at 2.30pm from Bournemouth Pier Approach, there will be a rally, followed by a march. It will finish with speeches in Bournemouth Square from local climate activists, including BCP councillors Felicity Rice and Simon Bull, and Michael French, founder of Grounded Community, a local charity that teaches people to grow their own food and feeds the community.
The organisers promise there will be a family friendly atmosphere with music.
Protests are confirmed across 28 countries across the world on Saturday.
