The Mayor of Ferndown Cllr John Lewis officially opened the Heatherlands Hopscotch Pre-school’s new play ground and sensory garden on Wednesday 25 September.
In the spirit of the event, the Mayor sat down, told a story and helped plant some flowers with the children in the new garden.
Heatherlands Centre Manager John Hanrahan said, “A big thank you for this much needed uplift must go to the National Lottery, East Dorset District Council, Synergy
Housing, Ferndown Town Council and Zone 8 Panel. Also well done to Lorraine Clarke Pre-school manager in making this project get of the ground.”
