Police investigating a burglary on a Winfrith farm are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Between 8pm on Thursday 21 January and 5am on Friday 22 January, offenders gained access to a steel butcher unit on Fossil Farm off the A352.
A large amount of meat including beef, lamb and gammon joints and a quantity of specialist knives were stolen.
Police Constable Ian Everton, of Purbeck police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area of the A352 between the relevant times to please call me. I am also keen to hear from anyone who has seen or heard of beef, lamb or gammon joints being sold in suspicious circumstances.”
