John Browns Garden Centre, near Wimborne, part of the Golden Acres group is hosting Santa and his elves every weekend from this Saturday (6 December) until 21 December in a magical grotto. Children can meet Mr Claus and all profits will be being donated to Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity.
There is also an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy breakfast with Santa and his elves each weekend in December from 8.30–9.30 am. Breakfast costs £5 and must be booked in advance. The breakfast option includes: sausages, baked beans, scrambled egg, potato waffles, buttered toast, a carton of juice and a special children Christmas goodie box (adults can choose a hot drink if preferred).
Beccy Payne, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Diverse Abilities Plus, said: “We are very excited about the grotto opening at John Browns Garden Centre this December and hope many children and families visit. It is the second year the garden centre has kindly donated funds from the grotto ticket sales to Diverse Abilities and we are extremely grateful.”
Judi Watkin, from Golden Acres, said: “We are very pleased to be once again supporting Diverse Abilities, a great local charity.”
Santa’s grotto will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 6 – 21 Dec, from 10am until 4pm, with entry for the grotto £5 per child. No pre booking is available, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Every child will receive a free festive gift and experience the magic of Christmas.
