Men arrested after pedestrian receives serious injuries in Poole driveway
A collision took place in the driveway of an address in Fitzworth Avenue and police are appealing for home CCTV or dashcam footage.
Although arrests have been made, Dorset Police are still keen for witnesses to come forward following a collision which took place in Poole this week.
At approximately 10.25am on Wednesday 21 February a collision occurred involving a car and a pedestrian in the driveway of an address in Fitzworth Avenue.
Officers attended with the ambulance service and the pedestrian was taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
Two men – in their 50s and 60s and from Poole – have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
Police Constable Joshua Alner, of the traffic unit, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances and I would ask members of the public who saw what happened and have not yet spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am also appealing to anyone in the community who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward.”
