A Mini, donated by car dealership Ridgeway, is the hole in one prize at the Renaissance Annual Golf Day which will take place on Friday 25 July.
In its second year, the tournament is once again being held at the famous Ferndown Golf Club, ranked amongst the World’s Top 1000 Golf Courses by Rolex and a favourite of Peter Alliss the former Ryder Cup player and the ‘voice of golf’ on television and is sponsored by Lester Brunt Wealth Management and BBXUK, ’The bank of spare capacity.’ The event will raise funds for four Dorset based charities: Autism Wessex, Dorset Blind, Hope FM Community Radio, and Julia’s House. Last year saw more than £7000 shared between the four charities and it is hoped that this year even more funds can be raised for these worthy causes.
It will be held in two parts: a golf day and a social evening meal and auction. During the day, teams of four will battle for the right to be crowned champions.
The event starts at 12 noon with registration tea/coffee on arrival, 9 holes will be played on the President’s course, in the evening there will be a 3 course meal, raffle and auction, as well as individual and team prizes. Tickets are £40 per player /£120 for a team of four golfers. Individual players can also be accommodated by finding them a team. Sponsorship is available in the way of banners on the course or prize donations. The evening meal tickets are £20 each, should you want to bring a guest and all are available via Robert Brunt Tel. 01202 695801 email robert@therenaissanceclub.org
