Ringwood Waldorf School is excited to host the inaugural debut of three mini American horses at its annual summer fair on Saturday (13 June) from 11am-4pm.
Horse-owner, Joanna Birley, will be bringing Mabel, Sugar and Mia who stand at approximately 30” high, on to the main field to allow children of all ages (parents and grandparents too!) to meet them. They will get the chance to groom them, plait their manes and tails and even take them for a walk on a short reign.
Joanna is currently in the process of setting up a new environmental community group in Verwood to help advance the education of children in the conservation, protection and improvement of their physical and natural environment, whilst also promoting healthy eating and exercise. She commented: “We are looking forward to supporting the school and watching the children enjoy the interaction with the horses. The summer fair looks set to be a fun day for all!”
In addition to the three unique horses, visitors will be able to enjoy live music and puppet shows, tuck into delicious food and cakes, take part in games and browse craft stalls for handcrafted and natural gifts.
