The family of a Bournemouth woman who has been missing for over a month is appealing for the public’s help.
Linda Trim, 67, was reported missing on Saturday 27 February 2016 after she failed to return to the Thornhill Hotel, Meyrick Park Crescent, where she had been staying for the past seven weeks. She left some of her personal belongings behind.
She was last seen at a letting agent on Hinton Road on the morning of Saturday 5 March.
She is described as white, around five feet tall, of slim build and with medium length brown hair. When Linda was last seen, she was wearing a skirt, a top and a thin rain coat.
Linda’s stepson, Darren Trim, said: “My family and I are really worried about Linda. If anyone knows Linda or has seen her, please contact the police just so that we know she is safe.
“If Linda sees this appeal we would urge her to get in touch with either us or the police just to let us know that she is alright.”
Detective Sergeant Ross Brown, of Dorset Police, said: “We have conducted a number of enquiries over recent weeks to find Linda.
“It is out of character for her to have not contacted relatives for such a lengthy period of time.
“I would urge anyone with information about where Linda may be to call Dorset Police on 101. I would also ask members of the public to call us if they see someone matching her description.
“If Linda sees this appeal, please make contact with us to let us know that you are safe.”
Anyone with information about Linda’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 27:127.
