Police in Christchurch are appealing for the public’s help as they are becoming increasingly concerned for 53 year old Nicholas Paul Attwell, who went missing from his home at Utrecht Court on Sunday 18 May 2014.
Force Incident Commander Bryan Duffy said: “Nicholas may become easily confused and come to some harm. We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare as now almost a week has passed since his disappearance.
“Enquiries reveal that he was last seen in Hereford along Union Street at around 8am on Thursday 22 May 2014. We believe Nicholas is travelling across the country as there have also been sightings of him in Southampton and Gloucester.
“It is possible that he is sleeping outdoors as his access to funds is very limited.
“His family is anxious for him to come home and it is important that Nicholas, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, comes forward as soon as possible as we want to ensure that he is safe and well.”
Nicholas is white, five feet seven inches tall, of large build and has short thinning hair. It is believed that he is wearing pale blue jeans, black shoes and a white cream coloured shirt or a white T-shirt.
Anyone who can help should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 22:192.
