Motorcyclist seriously injured in Holton Heath collision
If you were in the area on Thursday 13 May and witnessed the accident or have dashcam footage contact the police.
A 50-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision between the Blackhill Road roundabout and the Bakers Arms roundabout on the A351 on Thursday 13 May.
Dorset Police was called at 1.27pm to a report of a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a yellow Honda motorcycle in which both vehicles were travelling in the same direction.
The motorcyclist from Bridport was taken to hospital for treatment but the driver of the car was uninjured.
Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the traffic unit, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding this collision.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“I am particularly keen to hear from any motorists who were driving along the A351 and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam.”
