Motorbike rider seriously injured in Bournemouth collision
Anyone driving through Winton on Tuesday 4 March and who witnessed this collision is asked to contact the police.
A motorbike rider sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision in Winton on Tuesday 4 March.
Dorset Police received the report at 1.18pm of the collision involving a red Vauxhall Mokka and a red Triumph motorbike on Wimborne Road.
The driver of the car did not sustain any serious injuries.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services safely dealt with the incident and carried out an examination of the scene.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway into the collision, and I am really keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
“Also, if you were driving along Winton High Street at the time of the collision and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage please get in touch.
“I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
