Motorcyclist dies on road near Wimborne
Following the collision on the Blandford Road, near Kingston Lacy, the 67-year-old man from Poole died at the scene.
A 67-year-old motorcyclist was killed yesterday (Wednesday) on the Blandford Road, close to the turning for Kingston Lacy.
The collision involving a gold-colour Honda motorcycle was reported to police at 12.58pm.
Sadly, the man who was from Poole died at the scene.
Police Sergeant Craig Tatton, of the traffic unit, said, “We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident to please come forward.
“Also, I would urge anyone who has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please view it to see if they have captured anything relevant that might help our investigation.
