Motorcyclist seriously injured in Ferndown collision
If you were in New Road at around 4.44pm on Friday 23 April and witnessed the collision the police would like to speak to you.
A motorcyclist in his 20s was taken to Poole Hospital suffering from potentially life-changing injuries following a collision in Ferndown on Friday 23 April.
The accident involving the red and white Yamaha motorcycle and a white Vivaro panel van took place at 4.44pm on the A347 New Road, near to the fire station.
The motorcyclist came from Swindon.
The driver of the van, a local man aged in his 20s, was uninjured.
Police Sergeant Sarah Jones, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or captured anything relevant on dashcam, and has not yet spoken to officers to please contact Dorset Police.
“The collision caused congestion in the area and I would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding while we responded to the incident and paramedics treated the injured man at the scene.”
