A Poole motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a silver Mitsubishi Space Star on the A350 north of the Roundhouse Roundabout.

Dorset Police received the report of the collision between the car and a Suzuki motorcycle at around 7.12am on Tuesday 18 October.

Officers attended the scene, along with the ambulance service, and the motorcyclist –was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his leg.

Police Constable Dan Yates, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
