MP Simon Hoare visited Teachers Building Society on 25 September to chat with staff – and help judge the staff cake competition in support of the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Simon Hoare is the MP for North Dorset and currently sits on the Finance Bill Committee and is Vice Chairman of the All-Party Rural Business Group.
James Bawa, chief executive of Teachers Building Society, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Simon Hoare to the society and to be able to discuss some of the important issues facing Teachers as the only local building society still remaining in the area.”
Simon Hoare chatted with staff about the important issues facing the financial industry in the area and enjoyed the selection of cakes staff baked for the day.
