Music fest set to rock St Giles House
We Out Here Festival takes place at St Giles House just outside Wimborne from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 August.

If you who couldn’t get to Glastonbury this year, you can enjoy a music festival on your doorstep, with local people able to get discounted tickets.
St Giles House, which is just outside Wimborne and is home to the Earl of Shaftsbury, is staging the We Out Here Festival from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 August,
The headliner is British singer and songwriter, Michael Kiwanuka, with the diverse line up including international artists including Noname, MJ Cole, London jungle DJs 4AM KRU, Theo Parrish, and Chicago ensemble, Rotary Connection 222.
The festival’s programme, which includes music, talks, workshops, wellness, and food, also celebrates and highlights local talent. The Hush Club, which operates renowned community parties in Southbourne, joins the DJ line up and will deliver a DJ set on the Roller Rink on the Sunday evening.
Lou Woodward, community outreach lead at We Out Here, said: “There is nowhere better to host We Out Here than St Giles. The estate is the most beautiful, magical setting to bring people together to celebrate and enjoy music, arts, and culture. We’re delighted to have more local partners on board than ever before. We Out Here celebrates the very best of local talent, food, and community.”
Four Acre Farm, a Community Interest Company based out of Ringwood, features on the new-for-2025 Craftwerk tent programme. The team is running two workshops, bug hotels and moth displays, as well as planting and sowing seeds on the Friday and Saturday of the festival. Four Acre Farm encourages festival goers to joyfully connect with the land and each other through skill sharing and meaningful connection rooted in nature.
We Out Here prides itself on offering a curated selection of food and drink options on site, with local traders including Dorset Kitchen, OneNine58, Tibetan Street Food, and Southbourne favourite, Velo Domestique, all appearing at the show. We Out Here has partnered with Wimborne Food Bank to donate surplus stock after the festival ends.
A total of 95 per cent of tickets for the festival have already sold, and with just over a month to go, the event is set to be a sell out. Day and community tickets are still available.
