National Express offers helping hand as FlyBe collapses
National Express is offering a helping hand to FlyBe customers who had planned to travel across the UK after news of the airline’s collapse broke on 5 March.
The UK’s largest coach operator is offering free coach travel to anyone booked on to a domestic flight where there is a comparable coach route available. FlyBe customers who were booked to travel to and from a UK airport via National Express can also have their coach tickets amended for free.
“It’s an incredibly stressful time for travellers who have been disappointed by this sad news so we want to do what we can to help get them to where they want to go,” said Chris Hardy, managing director at National Express.
For any FlyBe customers coming back from holiday whose return travel details (time, date or destination) have changed, National Express will amend their booking to another service free of charge. Customers are advised to speak to a member of staff at their departure point or contact Customer Service Centre on 03717 81 81 81 (lines are open 8am – 10pm 7 days a week).
