Nature sessions for Dorset children
The Nature Nook Forest School is providing sessions for children with and without special needs.

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, has launched ‘Nature Nook’ at The Treehouse in Hurn, near Bournemouth Airport.
Little Seedlings is a group for under fives exploring nature crafts, planting and story time on Thursdays (during Dorset term time) from 10am–11.30am.
Home Ed Sessions are for those aged between six and 18 years old who are out of school or in alternative provision. They will learn a range of nature-based skills and take part in physical activities such as games, sports and obstacle courses. These are on Thursdays (during Dorset term time) from 12.30pm–2.30pm.
The Holiday Club is for children aged eight to 14 during the school holidays to enjoy a range of nature-based activities such as fire lighting, green wood crafts, and den building. This will take place on Mondays and Thursday during summer holidays from 8.30am–3pm or 8.30am–4pm.
The sessions are being run by a team with strong experience of supporting children with special educational needs; however, these sessions are open to all children, including those without additional needs.
Book a session at www.diverseabilities.org.uk/naturenook.
