On her appointment as manager, Lauren said: “I started my career with Care South at a very young age and was invested in and supported by the company to achieve my goals. I am proud to be part of a company who cares about their employees as individuals as well as residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. I have a sense of comfort knowing I have been a part of supporting someone have a meaningful day.”

Director of residential care at Care South, Aaron Whitehead, said: “Lauren is an extraordinary home manager with a fantastic experience of care, and we are delighted to have Lauren flourish in her well-deserved new role at Alexandra House. It is a wonderful home with a brilliant team, and the residents and their families are already enjoying Lauren’s presence.”

Prior to her promotion, Lauren was acting home manager at Alexandra House and began her career in care with Care South.
