The Environment Agency is to fund a study to improve fish passage on the lower stretches of a Dorset chalk stream to the east of Blandford Forum.

In this National Tree Week schools and community groups are urged to apply for their free tree packs from the Woodland Trust.

As well as two drop in sessions, local people have the chance to complete an online survey until 15 January.
