Resurfacing works to Charminster Road in Bournemouth are due to take place from 6 April, and will take 12 days to complete.

Dorset residents have lost pride in their county due to the excessive amount of litter on roadside verges.

The collision happened at around 8.30pm on Monday 29 March on the B3081 near to the turning to Alderholt and police are seeking witnesses.

The man from Cerne Abbas, who was in his 90s, sadly died at the scene of the collision in Long Street and witnesses are sought.
