Vikki Slade MP helped secure four new driving examiners for Poole but is calling for more action to improve transport for young people in Dorset.

A huge fire broke out at a warehouse on West Quay Road in Poole on Wednesday 1 October.

The new Coasts in Mind Mapping Platform will enable communities to identify areas of Poole Harbour that are being lost to the sea.

This would align BCP Council with Dorset Council which has town and parish councils in towns and villages.

There are 15 events planned across the three towns including community meals, apple pressing and herb drying.

A former Wren who turned 100 years old on Saturday 30 August received hundreds of birthday cards from the Poole community.

BCP Council is proposing the introduction of Residents Cards for summer next year, but it will need approval by Cabinet.

Dawn Logan was elected as the councillor for the Talbot & Branksome Woods ward at the by-election on Thursday 11 September.

The fire started on the first floor of the property, but fortunately the occupants were alerted by working fire alarms.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage following the collision at the Mountbatten Roundabout in Ringwood Road.
