Volunteers and other groups including BCP Rangers have pulled together to rescue animals caught up in the fire.

The fire, which destroyed 16.7 hectares of Canford Heath last Saturday, killed at least 23 animals.

Poole Park was the setting for the event in which people walked, jogged, ran or danced their way around a five-kilometre course.
