No changes to Dorset Council kerbside bin collections

Dorset Council is keen to stress that it has made no changes to what can be accepted in kerbside bins.

Many national newspapers along with one Dorset-based paper are currently running stories about changes to kerbside waste collections due to the government’s new Simpler Recycling rules coming into effect across England this week.

A spokesman said: “While some councils have had to make big changes to their collections, our Recycle for Dorset kerbside service already follows these rules and has done for many years now.

“Therefore, there are no changes to what we can/cannot accept in kerbside bins from this week.”
