More in the spirit of Whacky Races than Grand Prix racing, a motley assortment of traders and friends lined up on Spill the Beans corner in Wimborne to celebrate the West Street Bunny Run finish. Courtesy of the Formula 1 Display in Wimborne Square being held at the same time, Stig met up with his West Street alter ego Stig Bunny and his trainer, along with various other shop window props created for the Bunny-Run. These included a six foot tall man-eating carrot and a giant artisan road runner pie, specially made for the occasion according to his ‘signature bake’ recipe by John March Firearms of West Street.
The winners of the Easter Bunny-Run competition held in West Street, Wimborne were Gulliver and Frieda Sears-Brown of Blandford. They provided the closest guesstimate of 676 – the total was 692! 2nd were Jordan and Jasmin Woodhouse and 3rd Barnie Gill, all from Wimborne Minster.
