Lewis-Manning Hospice in Poole is asking people to get involved in Twenty Onesie Day on 21 November by wearing their onesies to work, school or gym and help raise some money for the charity.
Lewis-Manning supports over 650 local people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and launched the initiative recently when its fundraising team and mascot Lewis Bear wore onesies to work and joined patients in its day hospice.
Paul Tucker, Lewis-Manning’s Marketing and Communications Officer, said, “Onesies have become extremely popular over the last few years, so we thought with so many people now owning one, this would be a good fun way to raise some money for the hospice.
“In particular we would like schools and businesses to get involved, so they can do it in larger groups and help encourage each other to wear their comfy onesies for the day and have a bit of fun for a good cause.”
