Only two more Thursdays before Christmas for late night shopping at Poole's Dolphin Centre
For those of you beginning to panic about falling behind with buying Christmas presents, the Dolphin Centre in Poole is holding late night shopping days every Thursday.
There are just two more Thursdays left before Christmas (16 and 23 December) to do a bit of late-night shopping at Poole Dolphin Centre when the shops will be open from 8am to 8pm.
Also within the centre is the GATHER unit which is hosting a diverse calendar of events over the festive period for shoppers to enjoy.
Carmen Moore, community manager at the Dolphin Centre, said: “GATHER is a space that is inclusive for everybody – an activity-based area to engage the community and totally transform that traditional mindset of what a shopping centre is and should be. Everyone at the Dolphin Centre is extremely proud of how that vision is coming to life.”
The Poole Printmakers will be offering a 4-day pop-up to provide Christmas shoppers with affordable, unique art and a printmaking area. From 17-20 December, shoppers can turn up and view the artwork on offer while also trying their hand at printmaking to make a last-minute Christmas card.
The GATHER unit is located opposite Beales on the ground floor of the centre and was created as part of Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets’ (LGIMRA) vision to future-proof Poole’s retail offering. It is normally open seven days a week from 9am-5.30pm.
However, please note the following timings at the Dolphin Centre over the Christmas and New Year period:
- Saturday 25 December – Closed
- Sunday 26 December – 10:30am – 4:30pm
- Monday 27 December – 8am to 6pm
- Tuesday 28 December – 8am to 6pm
- Saturday 1 January – 8am to 6pm
- Sunday 2 January – 10:30am to 4:30pm
