Livability’s Victoria Education Centre in Poole – a local day and residential school for disabled children and young people – has been awarded Outstanding in its Ofsted report.
The inspection took place on 25 and 26 June and concluded that the school has improved well since its last inspection and is now outstanding in all areas.
Victoria Education Centre is a day and residential special school for young people aged from 3 to 19. Serving disabled students and people with complex medical requirements, the school caters for a variety of needs including communication difficulties, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.
Victoria Education Centre is major provider of education for disabled people. It is part of the Livability family of services.
Livability is a national disability and community engagement charity. It works to support communities become more livable for disabled and disadvantaged people. Livability runs a variety of care and community-focused services, in the areas of wellbeing, education, health and social care.
