Now in their 99th year of entertaining audiences across Dorset, Poole and Parkstone Productions are proud to return to the Barrington Theatre in Ferndown with a celebration of songs, poems and drama from both World Wars in “Pack Up Your Troubles”.
From the trenches to the music halls, barracks to living rooms, music kept our troops’ spirits high and the nation strong. With a nostalgic recollection of the “Blitz Spirit”, the show includes sing-along songs such as Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner, The Lambeth Walk and of course Pack Up Your Troubles, as well as well-known tunes by popular artists including Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields.
The music is interspersed with a selection of poignant and thoughtful poems and scenes and performed by P&P’s Musical Theatre, Singers and Players, ensuring Pack Up Your Troubles is a fitting tribute and an unforgettable event.
Tickets are £12.50-£14.50 (Concessions and family discounts available). For further information and to book tickets visit The Barrington Box office, or contact the P&P Box Office: 07783 068373
