Patriotic colours for Bournemouth bus service
The Jubilee bus will be taking passengers across the area to promote travel to Boscombe, Southourne and Westbourne.
A local bus company has got into the jubilee spirit by going red, white and blue.
Bournemouth Coastal BID and Yellow Buses have joined forces to create the eye-catching double decker which will be travelling across the conurbation.
It is decorated with a Union Flag and promotes the BID’s trading areas of Boscombe, Southbourne and Westbourne.
Paul Clarke, chairman of the Coastal BID, said: “Our Jubilee bus looks superb and we’d like to thank Global Brand Communications for the artwork and Yellow Buses for making it happen.
“Our partnership with Yellow Buses will be ongoing and our joint aim is to get more people visiting our areas by bus.
“It is all part of our campaign to encourage people to #LoveBoscombe, #LoveSouthbourne and #LoveWestbourne.”
David Squire, managing director of Yellow Buses, said: “This is the latest of our branded buses and passengers love them.
“We’ve been celebrating big national occasions for more than a century and this week’s Platinum Jubilee will be one of the biggest.
“We hope people will take advantage of our cut-price ticket offer over the long weekend – details of which can be found on the Coastal BID’s social media channels.”
