Pedestrian dies following collision in Boscombe
The collision which occurred on Wednesday 1 May near to the junction with Windham Road, involved a grey Vauxhall Mokka and witnesses are sought.
The local man in his 70s who was involved in a collision in Ashley Road was taken to hospital but died on Thursday 2 May.
Dorset Police received a report at 8.05am on Wednesday 1 May of a collision near to the junction with Windham Road, involving a grey Vauxhall Mokka and a pedestrian.
A woman aged in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and she has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
Sergeant Mark Scammell, of the Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died following this collision.
“We owe it to them to conduct a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.”
