This was well attended with over 50 people. Martyn Underhill was interesting and Home Watch members learned a lot. He talked about the new Community Speed Watch that is coming our way soon, with Home Watch members being trained to use hand held cameras. They will be reporting people who speed, those using mobile phones and those without seat belts. Offenders will get two chances, with warning letters being sent. But if the same details are reported a third time, this will result in a police visit. West Moors Home Watch has over 1,000 members. Guard Cam was promoted as a really good piece of security equipment.
